thanks to our.city.lights i learned about a sweet and simple photo diary that’s happening during the month of august. everyone is welcome to post a photo <or 5> a weekday to their blog <and/or flickr> to remind us of the beauty that surrounds us. no rules. no pressure. hosted by the delightful susannah conway. so come join the fun right here!
this past week, the canadian design blog, poppytalk, hosted the second annual summer colours week on flickr. each day of the week was assigned a color theme and anyone was welcome to upload photos with said colors. i was able to get it together by the last day, create a flickr account, select some of my favorite shots and upload some summertime photos in the summer colour pool. over 200 flickr members uploaded almost 2100 beautiful and inspiring photos in 5 days and to my delight 2 of my photos were selected and featured on friday.
